This very rare ‘39 Ford is in nice original condition everywhere you look with only 1 re-paint to the original car look great with the two-tone gray and silver blue and the fender skirts. This car is a southern adult owned car. ‘39 model year and is a very rare to find one for sale, let alone one that is in the original condition this one is, this car may be the one you can own at a great price. This car is a rare find with being unmolested since new and the fact that it is all original with only one repaint. The miles on the odometer show 94,407 and are believed to be original to the car. The interior is very nice and needs nothing and looks as it did back in 1939.
The engine bay is original, turn over the flat head V-8 engine 85hp and quite rumble from the exhaust hits a sweet tune. Driving it, you will appreciate the ride and handling characteristics. The optional 3-speed transmission shifts smoothly, the new brakes stop the car quickly and securely as it can for a 81 year old car. It’s is a blast to drive!
The body is in very nice condition. The metal is clean and straight with no signs of damage. All the glass is in great shape with no chips or cracks just a bit of laminating on the edge. The bias-ply wide white tires look great with the factory wheels and hub caps, the trunk look very nice with the original spare and the original trunk mat I believe. The underside is very solid. Overall this is a rare opportunity to own a true piece of American history of the automobile industry.
