Volkswagen t1 SPLIT SCREEN 15 WINDOW Fully Restored
VW Split Screen 1975 LHD 15 Window bus finished in metallic black over gold, this colour sequence really sets the bus apart from others.
This has undergone a very extensive no expense spared nut and bolt, bare metal restoration, with all panels and floors that needed replacing replaced at A W Classic .
The bus has then been through a final prep and paint in the stunning two tone colour sequence you see it in today, it’s had a full complete re spray inside, outside and underside.
A new bespoke wiring loom is fitted inclusive of an electronic ignition, new Bosch alternator, new pulleys and belts, new coil, distributor, spark plugs and HT leads allowing the engine to start with ease.
It is running a standard 1500cc single port engine which has been fully reconditioned with all components renewed including the fuel system making the engine run smooth and sound like it should.
The gearbox has undergone a complete service and has a new Empi gear stick fitted allowing the gears to be selected effortlessly. The steering has been upgraded to a modern system allowing lighter steering.
The buses exterior comes with RAW alloy wheels sitting on new Bridgestone tyres, complementing the dropped suspension and new shockers we have had done to the bus.
The brake system has had a complete overhaul comprising of master cylinder, brake cylinders, pads, flexi brake hoses, handbrake cable and brake pipes.
It has deluxe chrome trim , pop out side windows, safari windows, new door handles and windows and door seals are new.
