A 1962 Daimler SP250. Red with a black leather interior. 81,000 miles on the car. Only 2,670 built with 1,420 built LHD. All fiberglass car, it is rated for 125 mph.
The Daimler has been under my ownership for 10 yrs and its garage kept. Not used much in the last couple of yrs.
A true survivor, an extremely original and unrestored car. A nice and straight body. Paint, interior, top and engine/transmission are all original.
The fiberglass is in very good condition, no cracks. There is a crack on the windshield on the right side. The interior is all original but is showing its age and the original leather is cracked. The front bumper is off the car but comes with it. Engine compartment is very tidy.
Steel chassis is also in excellent condition with no rust through or patches, just pin holes as you can see in the pictures. Undercarriage is very dry and very solid.
The car just had a service done a few weeks ago, over $3000 was spent on mechanical work, receipt available.
Mechanical items replaced/rebuilt are: all front bushings and suspension A frames, shocks, brakes and calipers, fuel pump, tires, exhaust, transmission rebuild, SU carbs rebuilt. The Hemi V-8 runs well and the 5 spd transmission shifts fine. All gauges work. Oil pressure runs a perfect 60 pds.
The car runs and drives well. Comes with extensive history, all the books and original owners’ manuals and a factory warranty card, spare keys as well.
Also comes with a jack and tools.
