You are looking at a true Hot Rod built in the mid 1930's for a Phila restaurateur. The car is titled as a 1918 Stutz, and was modified in the early 1930's to a Speedster configuration, with the Bearcat in mind, basing the Stutz name off of the original Stutz grille. The engine is a 1933 Hudson Power Dome Terraplane 6 cyl engine and the trans is from a mid 1930's Hudson non synchro transmission and has Dodge full hydraulic brakes. Has a Pierce Arrow taillight. Gauges are 1930's Hudson. The body and interior are made of wood. In my opinion the paint appears to be original paint on most of the car, except the fire wall. In my opinion most of the wires look to be from the 1930's. There is a hidden tool box under the car, see picture. The sign on back of the car can be easily removed. What I saw that is newer to the car is a electronic fuel pump, battery cut off switch, battery cables, some wiring, radiator hoses, horn, horn button, and seat belts. I do have receipts for the car showing back in 2019 it had brake and clutch work. The side hand emergency brake works. The vintage oil pressure, battery, and amps gauges works properly. I found this car sitting in a private estate of custom and vintage motorcycles. I am going to list it as a non running project, since I have not fully inspected or tested the car for the open road.
