You are looking at this very rare 1979 Mercedes Benz N1300 9-Passenger Van with 21k original miles made by Mercedes Benz subsidiary Mevosa in Vitoria, Spain. These N1300's are extremely rare and very well-built vans. It is a rare configuration 9-passenger van and was equipped like this from the factory. This car gets looks no matter where we take it. It gets more attention than the 21 passenger VW Bus that we had. It is very original and in excellent condition. I've maintained it and driven it regularly since our ownership. The car does not have any issues whatsoever and is in great condition. It even has all the original factory stickers and markings. This is really a well-preserved example of a collectors' car. I have the title and it is currently registered in the US. Been driving it to the beach lately on the weekends and it's an absolute pleasure to be in (not a speeding bullet, but could probably tow a building!) I've even located a document that has the original invoice from 1979. I also have the original service book.
Mechanical
It's got a 2.0L diesel engine with 59HP and tons of torque coupled with a 4-speed manual transmission. I've had a diesel mechanic look at it and it's in perfect condition, no smoking, etc.
Exterior
Exterior is in great shape with what appears to be the original color combination. I've looked all over and don't think the car has ever had a color change. All the trims are in almost like new shape and fresh. I believe the Hella Fog lamps are original, but I can't confirm. There is also a sun visor and a cool roof rack that were installed, although I'm not sure if either one is original or not. All the lights, signals, wipers, and handles work perfectly. All door gaps look perfect to me as well.
Interior
Interior is also in near perfect shape. Seats are pretty much spotless and everything is original. The steering wheel has some minor cracks in the finish, but it hasn't bothered me. It's equipped with a fire extinguisher, curtains and a picnic table for the back. Both side doors open allowing you to walk through. It's really spacious inside with original rubber mats. It even has all the original stickers and labels on the windows and throughout the interior.
The low miles and rarity make this a very special van to own. I've personally never seen another one of these, anywhere, let alone in the US.
• CLEAN TITLE, 32,538 KILOMETERS, THE MILEAGE ON THE TITLE IS EXEMPT LIKE ALL THE OLD VEHICLES
• 2.0L DIESEL ENGINE WITH 59HP, 4 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION
• FRONT WHEEL DRIVE IS AN UNUSUAL SPANISH BUILT FAMILY PASSENGER MODEL WITH ROOTS IN AN ANCIENT TWO-STROKE DKW DESIGN

• APPEARS TO BE IN A VERY NICE SHAPE INSIDE AND OUT
• APPARENTLY STRAIGHT BODY, EXCELLENT PAINT AND COMPLETE, WELL KEPT TRIM
• THE INTERIOR LOOKS REMARKABLY WELL KEPT
• BEHIND THE CARGO AREA DIVIDER, THINGS LOOK JUST AS NICE; A SUN VISOR AND A COOL ROOF RACK INSTALLED
• COMES WITH A BOOK AND RECEIPTS
• RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT
