1948 Lincoln Continental Cabriolet Convertible Easy Project

This is a 1948 Lincoln convertible. It is one of 452 made. This is a rare find with a nice body recently restored with all new body welting, a #7 paint job. It does look great with very little imperfections. It has one original push button door and the other is a lever out of an earlier Lincoln. The bottom of the car is painted in black enamel with no rust. It is almost stock on the outside. The interior has new rugs, custom door panels, arm rests, power windows, trunk. The well is covered in rug and pleather. The seats have been refurbished and are nice with some imperfections that does not take away from the looks. The interior presents very well. All chrome inside & out is in very good condition with a little pitting here and there. The drive line has been converted to a Cadillac 1971 472 cu inch with 150-160 lbs of compression in each cylinder with automatic trans & rear end with lokar floor shifter. It still has transverse rear and front springs. It also has air shocks all around, front end is stock. It has new hydraulic brakes all around. It has an aluminium radiator, oil cooler and relocation of oil filter. Also has a new GM power steering box mated to a Cadillac steering column tilt and telescopic wheel.It has a new 12 volt wiring harness with a battery disconnect switch under the dash. The engine runs strong and the transmission shifts good. This car has a lot of man hours and need very little to finishing making it complete. To be completed it needs a wheel alignment and a convertible top. The frame is in very good condition with all the hardware there. It needs a windshield motor for the wipers- all linkage is there. No heater, but I have the original under seat heater and blower that will be included in the sale. The turn signals do not work, but the 4 ways do. All of the lights do work. I have the original rear end and torque tube also will be included.
